School Supply Giveaway
school suppliesNot having the right school supplies can take a toll on a child’s learning experience.

Last August, Central Place, with the aid of 42 community donors and a host of volunteers, sponsored a one-day school supply giveaway for any student entering a Southeast Polk school. We were able to give supplies to 560 kids and were able to make “runs” to stock up on essential supplies during the actual giveaway when things were getting low. We hope to help even more students to give them a fresh start for the upcoming school year.

Supplies are also provided throughout the school year for students in need who run out or are new to the district.
